This translation is provided for your convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These terms apply to private experiences, the ones quoted on request. Trips in the open calendar are governed by the Terms and conditions.

1. The initial booking payment

When accepting the proposal, the client pays an initial booking amount to confirm the experience. This payment allows Random Trips to start arranging and securing the necessary services.

2. Refund periods

Once the booking is confirmed, the following terms apply:

  • 30 days or more before the experience: 100% of the amount paid is refunded.
  • Between 15 and 29 days before: 50% of the amount paid.
  • Between 7 and 14 days before: 25% of the amount paid.
  • Less than 7 days before, or if you do not show up: no refund.

The percentage is calculated on what you have paid up to the moment you cancel, not on the total price of the experience. Random Trips covers the fee the payment platform charges for the refund: it is not deducted from what you get back.

The non-refundable portion covers administrative costs, payment platform fees and the work already put into preparing the experience.

For example: on a US$1,000 trip where you paid the 30% booking amount —US$300—, if you cancel 20 days before, you get US$150 back.

Refunds are subject to the terms of the services booked with third parties.

3. Changes in the number of participants

The price may be recalculated if the number of people decreases or increases, since private experiences are quoted based on the number of participants and the services booked.

4. Date changes

Date changes requested at least 15 days in advance can be made once, with no administrative penalty, as long as there is availability and the local providers and guides involved allow the change.

To request a cancellation or change, the client must contact Random Trips through the official channels listed in their booking confirmation.

5. Weather or safety conditions

If conditions prevent the experience from being carried out safely, we will put the group's safety first and seek to reschedule the experience or apply the appropriate solution according to the services booked.

In these cases, Random Trips may offer, depending on the circumstances and availability:

  • A date change with no penalty.
  • Credit for the corresponding amount.
  • A refund of the services that have not been committed.

6. Cancellation by Random Trips

If Random Trips cancels the experience for reasons directly attributable to Random Trips and no acceptable alternative can be offered, the client will be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid for the services not provided.
